Happy August!! We are headed into the busiest season(s) of the year. But I wanted to take a (very short) minute of your time to share something Iβve been (re)learning lately. Iβve always heard or read this verse: ππΌ

And thought lottttts about the words I speak but definitely put less emphasis on the mediation of my heart portion. And then 3 times this week, I was asked the question: what do you think about or mediate on when you are alone?
.
Someone said it this way ππΌ
.
βTo discover the real you, look at what you spend time thinking about when no one is looking, when nothing is forcing you to think about anything in particular. At such moments, do your thoughts go toward God?β
.
And then at church on Sunday, the sermon was all about Psalm 19 and the preacher asked the same question. π
.
So Iβve been challenged this week to check the condition of my heart. What do I think on? Do my thoughts go towards God? Is there something else they go towards more?

Scripture says out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks. The words of my mouth WILL be acceptable to Him if the mediation of my heart is focused on Him.
Praying I can β
Think Jesus + speak Jesus, always π©·
Have the best week! π€πΌ – Aimee
